How soon can you come out?

Do you cover all of London?

I rent or lease my flat. Do I need the landlord's or managing agent's permission?

Accepted Answer

For fixed works (drilling, new cable runs, fixed containment, equipment mounted to the building), usually yes. We ask on the booking form and again at the first visit, and we'll tell you exactly what needs sign-off before anything starts. If you're not sure who to ask, we'll help you work it out.

Question 4

My cable needs to go through a riser, loft or shared duct. Is that a problem?

It's a common one. Risers, lofts, external walls and shared ducting in a block usually aren't the leaseholder's to alter, even where they serve your flat. That needs freeholder or managing-agent sign-off. At survey we identify which parts of the route are communal, tell you what's needed, and where possible design an alternative that stays within your own property.

What standards do you install to, and what about fire safety?

Cable penetrations through fire-rated walls, floors and doors are properly fire-stopped, so the barrier is reinstated to its original rating. Runs through communal corridors and escape routes go in appropriate containment. Cable is concealed in containment and existing voids rather than surface-clipped, which matters especially in listed and period buildings. Our engineers are trained in fire-stopping; for commercial work we hold COPT, CNCI, asbestos awareness, working at height, first aid and an ECS card.

Can you sort Wi-Fi in an older, listed or converted property?

That's our specialism. Victorian conversions, mansion blocks, multi-storey terraces and listed buildings are exactly where signal dies, and where a heatmapped, property-specific fix, with cable routed discreetly, pays off.

My provider says everything's fine. Can you still help?

Accepted Answer

Yes. They check up to their box and stop. The wiring, equipment and coverage inside your property is what we fix, and if the fault really is theirs, we'll give you the evidence.

Are you tied to a broadband provider or a product brand?

Accepted Answer

No. We don't sell broadband and we're not tied to any provider, supplier or product. That keeps our advice impartial.

Do you sell the equipment?

Accepted Answer

For bespoke systems we design, source and install everything. For Wi-Fi and cabling we specify what genuinely suits your property and budget. We don't push kit for commission.

Can you work with the equipment I already have?

Accepted Answer

Often, yes. We'll reuse what's good and only recommend new kit where it genuinely helps.

Do you prove the Wi-Fi actually improved?

Yes. We heatmap before and after, so you can see the dead zones and the fix.

How much does it cost?

There's a set fee for the survey or first visit, agreed with you before we come out, and it's credited back against the job if you commission the work. Everything else is quoted properly once an engineer has seen the property. Small faults can often be priced on the spot. We don't quote blind down the phone.
